1. I love to travel. I’ve only been to 26 states (will be 27 next week) and 7 countries - and I want the list to grow. Actually, I’d like to be a global nomad, living a few months here and a few months there. Have laptop… will travel.

2. I met my husband on a blind date, set up by his dad. Thanks Pops!

3. We homeschool our children. We started when our oldest started kindergarten and he is now in the National Honor Society in college. He’ll be transferring to Texas A&M in January.

4. I’m somewhat of a genealogy buff. I’m a direct descendant of Charlemagne and William Brewster (of Mayflower fame). I’m also related to William Pitt (Prime Minister of England) and Francis Drake.

5. My all-time favorite song is What A Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong.

6. I was Editor-in-Chief of my high school yearbook.

7. I really am Peggy Sue.
